EMERGENCY EXIT is a groundbreaking large-scale performance that merges contemporary art, electronic music, and physical movement into an immersive, eco-conscious spectacle. Designed for audiences of over 20,000 people, it introduces a unique format to Europe, combining high-level artistic collaboration with a powerful environmental message.
At its core is the idea “Peace on Earth, Peace with Earth,” which aims to raise awareness about the urgent need to protect our planet. Through interactive elements and direct audience engagement, the performance brings spectators closer to the realities of climate change and ecological neglect, creating an experience that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.
Featuring internationally acclaimed artists and creators - the legendary Spanish artistic collective La Fura dels Baus, the hypnotic sounds of Satori, and striking visuals by Eyesberg Studio, EMERGENCY EXIT pushes the boundaries of traditional performance by merging art with activism. Following its premiere at EXIT Festival in Serbia in 2025 and a subsequent performance at Boom Festival in Portugal, the project continued its successful European journey with a highly acclaimed presentation at Sea Star Festival in Umag, Croatia, in May 2026. Its fourth performance is scheduled to take place in Spain later in 2026, further establishing EMERGENCY EXIT as a touring production for major European festivals and cultural events.
Beyond the stage, EMERGENCY EXIT fosters collaboration among artists and cultural workers, offering opportunities for large-scale co-creation and professional growth. Developed in consultation with environmental experts, the project ensures scientifically grounded content, while workshops help artists become advocates for ecological responsibility. Ultimately, EMERGENCY EXIT seeks not only to entertain but to inspire action, mobilizing audiences and artists alike. It also serves as a call to everyone - visitors, performers, festival staff, sponsors, and volunteers - to sign the evolving Manifesto to Save the Planet, reinforcing art's role as a driver of environmental change.
