Hand to Hand

Project description

Hand to hand is a European cooperation project that aims to explore the European contemporary circus in public space and collectively question the concept of social ecology. Through learning and research, circus artists, especially emerging artists, are encouraged to direct their artistic practices towards the public space and to open up to cross-sectoral collaboration. Through four research and residencies in Denmark, France, Portugal and Croatia, Hand to hand offers an experimental space for collaboration with the manufacturing sector, as well as creative and cultural industries and researchers in art and ecology.
