European Emerging Craft Platform – Craftwork 4.0 All
Project description
Craftwork 4.0 All is a platform for international and intercultural networking and co-creation, established between 12 organizations from 12 different countries (Italy, Sweden, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Serbia, Ireland, France, Croatia and Slovakia). The main objective of the platform is to support emerging artisans and craft practitioners in establishing new collaborations, co-creation, improvement and promotion of their work at national and international level.
The platform covers all aspects of contemporary craft, with the main goal of connecting, i.e. encouraging co-creation and introducing new methods of participation, thus modernizing craft practice, culture and tradition, but also the future of craft by using new technologies. In addition, the platform seeks to raise awareness and encourage cooperation with socially excluded communities, as well as other target groups and relevant institutions in order to examine and meet the new needs of practitioners working in the field of traditional and artistic crafts, who are at the beginning of their careers and business development.
The platform is intended for craft practitioners who are at the beginning of their careers in the field of traditional or artistic crafts, and who are interested in being informed about career development opportunities through mobility programs, residencies, education and various events at the national and international level.
The main activities in the project are local Craft Labs, academies, residencies, mobility and online conversations (coffee talks).
