Project description

In continuation of its 2018 successfully established brand the European Media Art Platform (EMAP) Werkleitz and its members seek to expand both, the Platform itself as well as its activities to host and produce more emerging artists but as well to create a huge international platform to promote the emerging artists productions and to foster knowledge transfer between artists and institutions not only from Europe but around the globe. 15 renowned institutions will host and present annual media art residencies for new innovative collaborative productions in the field of art, digital media and technology which will be based on intercultural collaborations. The results will be evaluated, documented and marketed on the online platform of EMAP. Presentation partners can apply for a small presentation/moblity grant as service providers to present and disseminate EMAPs EU emerging artists productions. Artists and organisations can participate in capacity building workshops organised by EMAP members.
