Heroes We Love is a multidisciplinary collaboration project focusing on the socialist legacy in 20th-century European art. It involves various partners from both institutional and non-institutional sectors in Central and Eastern Europe, with an aim of relating contemporary art practices to research and involving the wider public into a reflection on socialist art in its cultural, social, and political context.

Gained experience

Tijekom provedbe projekta postali smo svjesni niza problema s baštinom koji proizlaze iz suvremenih kulturnih politika. Koncept baštine opterećen je nacionalističkim, hijerarhijskim, komercijalnim i turistički usmjerenim perspektivama čineći hegemonijski diskurs izuzetno rigidnim i isključivim prema remek djelima hrvatske poslijeratne umjetnosti koja je u fazi propadanja.
