Island Connect II

Project description
Island Connect is a European project led by Domino, which began in 2020 and ran until 2022, bringing together four cultural organizations and institutions from Denmark, Greece, Ireland, and Spain. From 2023 to 2025, the project expands its scope and now includes six organizations from Denmark, Ireland, Spain, France, and Italy.
The main goal of the project is to increase transnational mobility and professional development for artists in European island countries. Through a series of artistic residencies and educational programs, the project connects artists and cultural workers from various European countries and beyond.
Participants have the opportunity to explore and create in an island environment, inspired by nature, rural island settings, and the theme of "islandness."
